It looks like a Syrian Woodpecker although the colour under the tail is slightly deeper than usual. Need more details to really clinch it. Where was it photographed?
It has to be either a Great Spotted or a Syrian Woodpecker. As it clearly lacks the post-auricular stripe, it must be a Syrian Woodpecker.
